Our Story

Champaign Propane was built by people who understand what it’s like to depend on propane, because we do too. Living in rural Ohio, we’ve all experienced the challenge of keeping homes, barns, and businesses warm through unpredictable winters, and we know how important reliable, affordable service really is.

 

Brothers Sam and Roy McGill have years of experience in grain farming. Sam also owns a swine facility, where propane plays a key role in daily operations. Cam Winters also owns a swine operation as well and helps operate an agricultural manure pumping business. Trevor Woodruff is part of his family’s farm, Woodruff Enterprises, with hands-on experience in grain farming, dairy production, and retail sales through the Woodruff Meat Market.

 

Together, we’ve seen how propane isn’t just a utility, it’s something rural families and businesses depend on. That’s why we started Champaign Propane: to offer dependable, straightforward service from folks who truly understand what it’s like to be on the receiving end.
